Kairosoft

This was the first game I ever played by Kairosoft. At the time I played it on my iPod touch after getting some apple store cards to buy it. Very quickly I was hooked! I had never seen a game like this before. The graphics were soooo cute, being completely in pixel art. It was also really cool to see all the little characters walk around and do things in game. This feature helped make the game feel more alive and is a key part in a majority of Kairosoft games.

Anyways, back to this specific game. World Cruise Story is a game where you manage your own cruise ship. You get to choose the layout of the ship and make a cruise plan every month. To get more passengers and buildings you can invest in certain proposals. Passengers can bring back items and buildings for you after going on tours. To visit more countries you have to invest in a king or queen from a country you already have to stay on your ship for a night. If they are pleased with their stay they will recommend three countries for you to choose from. There are also different reviewers you can choose from to review your ship once a month. The more pleased they are with you ship in their area of critique the better score and more money you'll get.

I've never been able to fully beat the game yet even thought I've been playing it for years now with a few different saves. Even thought this is a mobile game it is difficult! The hardest part of the game would be satisfying each king and queen. They all have different likes and dislikes that are no always the most obvious.

This is one of the free games Kairosoft has to offer! Its also another one of their games that I've been addicted to over the years. This game is a bit more simple that the one above but it still maintains a good level of difficulty.

The game is about running your own cakery. You can make a bunch of different deserts and sell them to a range of customers. Each customer has different preferences and favorite deserts from your sweet recipe box. When making new sweets certain combos will create a whole new desert or increase certain point types more. In your store front you can control the types of shelves you have and the sweets you put on them. Each month different types of sweets are more popular than others so changing out sweets frequently is recommended. Most of the money you make doesn't actually come from selling sweets in your store front. The easiest way to make a lot of money is by using the food truck that you get after a few days of playing the game. In an hour you can make thousands of dollars just waiting.

Contests are another key part of the game. You can enter sweets into different contests to win prizes. The contests vary in category like textures, temperature, and volume. Each contest has three different ranks to beat.

This is another one of the paid games from Kairosoft. This one I started playing after the other two above. I instantly fell in love with it. The graphics of all the customers enjoys the water slides and pool were sooooo cute and wonderful.

The game is about running your own water park. You can design your own pools and water slides. There are food stands, seating, and shops that can be set up in the park as well. You can add items to each pool to change the color and smell. Certain colors and smells are more popular in different seasons, so adding new items frequently is recommended. Customers will give you personal quests such as gifting them certain swimsuits or items. This will increase their satisfaction and the amount they pay to get into the park. Customers will also take pictures on slides and attractions which will give the park more likes. For the food stands in the game, you can buy items and cook them. This creates recipes that can be added to each food stand or resturant. Certifications are another important part of the game. When applying for one the judge will give you certain requirements that need to be filled in three days.

This is one of the few games I've completed! When you finish the game fast mode is unlocked. Technically there is no end to the game but after winter year 8 it "ends".
