Nostalgic Videogames

*Also use the tabs on the left and right to see more about my favorite videogames.* Here is an overview of my thought and history with videogames!

When I was a youngin my first console was the Wii like many others my age.

My favorite game to play was I Spy
Spooky Mansion. The first time I actually finished the game I was in my last year of highschool. Me and my brother played it together and beat one of the impossible mini games poorly coded into the game.

Another game I enjoyed a lot was Mario Party 8! There was one version of the game that let you invest coins into hotels. It was sooooo fun to steal hotels from people and gain stars.

When I got older I played games like minecraft, and one of my favorites, terraria. Terraria was like minecraft but so much cooler because it had fun boss fights.

Also does anyone remember those insane minecraft mods? I would watch HOURS of mod videos everyday!!! I'm takin like the DanTDM and PopularMMOs kinda videos. Where they test out all the mod packs your too young and stupid to install. I lived through them! The improved vilager ones were also a favorite of mine. Now I enjoy all of horror mods that make the game basically unplayable.

Omori

Omori is an rpg style game that starts off very cute but is actually a horror game. I learned this the hard way when playing it by myself in a dark room at 3am. The story is sooo well written so play it yourself!

Omori had one of the best depictions of PTSD I've ever seen in media. Your put in the shoes of a character with complex trauma. The key is that its not revealed immediately. You have to uncover more information and make guesses based on what is shown and told through dialogue.
